Liberated by Love

​

True freedom is possessed by those who love themselves so fully that their self-concept includes all living things. Freed people understand and experience the interconnectedness of the Universe moment to moment, as an integrated phase of their consciousness, for they know that all is one and that they are one with all.

This freedom is spiritual freedom, the empowered soul expressing itself. This state of liberation has been expounded upon by theologians, philosophers, and religious figures throughout history, and they agree on three main features of it.

A liberated person will have: 1) broken their attachments to the world, or seen through the matrix of limited consciousness; 2) rejected their worldly values, or cultivated Love; 3) rejected the notion of their separateness, or accepted through Love their union with the Universe and all humankind.

What is it, then, that prevents our freedom? What holds us captive? The self-concept and corresponding worldview foisted upon us by sociocultural circumstances; the illusion that we are merely the synthesis of our experiences; the outright fiction that we are separated from Nature, that our self-awareness is a cosmic accident. These notions form a wall around the soul, confining it within a rigid shape, in a prison called the Ego. 

Love sets us free from the tyranny of the Ego, which is the false self. The Ego is what the world made of you. At Spirit Collective, our practice of the awareness of Love will empower you to make of yourself what you choose to make as you discover and align yourself with your unbounded soul. Together, we will find strength, security, and rootedness, as we come to understand that we are not and can never be alone.

The fundamental impulse of Spirit Collective is to validate in our members the drive to evolve, to facilitate their self-liberation. We are reaching beyond the confines of our conditioning, rediscovering ourselves as we learn to walk the path of the heart. We shall be set free from the bondages of the past, free to be and to express ourselves, and free to explore the boundless terrain of all existence in fullness of Love.

Love articulates itself through us in the form of empathy. Love empowers us to build in our members the empathy that sees others as our fellow compatriots in the great ordeal of life, and to foster in our group a profound interconnectedness.

We intend to lay the foundation necessary for us to become aware of all that our Egos are and all they do and then to let them go, allowing our authentic soul, our true and best selves, to shine through instead.
